In 2022, a staggering 1 in 8 people worldwide were living with obesity, with over 2.5 billion adults overweight and 37 million children under 5 years old overweight, reflecting a dramatic increase in obesity rates worldwide, which have more than doubled for adults and quadrupled for adolescents since 1990 (WHO).
As Andrew Huberman wisely said,
“We all have the capacity to experience joy, but it’s up to us to cultivate it through our thoughts, actions, and habits.”
With temptations everywhere, staying on track may seem nearly impossible. But with real focus and burning desire, you can level up your health, boost your metabolism, and get in top shape by developing the right mindset and actionable steps.
I went from being a “Lazy Fuck” to achieving vibrant physical shape in my mid-40s.
While living in Spain, I ended up in a dark place under the sunshine. I didn’t give a damn about my health, body and mind. It wasn’t until I moved back to France that I had a wake up call.
I decided, ‘That’s it! I’m getting back to my real self, and living my best life.’
Moving to Mauritius was the game-changer, and now I’m in the best shape of my life.
Transforming your health to get in vibrant shape goes beyond physical changes. It requires a mindset shift, unwavering faith and a commitment to building discipline, resilience and confidence.
If you’re trapped in a cycle of negative self-image, it’s the perfect recipe for limited beliefs to cloud your mind.
When you tell yourself, ‘My health isn’t that bad. Others are worse off,’ you’re justifying poor health and its impact on your subconscious.
You’re basically saying you don’t matter, avoiding responsibility, and feeding a cycle of bad habits (This not only makes you less appealing but also deepens poor health).
Your current state reflects inaction and unhealthy habits, which aren’t just temporary fixes. They trap you in a downward spiral.
Shifting your mindset and attitude is super important.
Real change starts with taking responsibility and committing to a vibrant quest for personal transformation.
Building discipline and resilience is crucial to achieving exceptional physical, mental, and emotional health, leading to a profound body transformation.

When doubtful in any circumstances, I like to remind myself of the powerful quote from neuroscientist, Andrew Huberman:

It took me time to get this, but once I did, I took action swiftly.
The result? I’m seeing lasting changes across many areas of my life since I built a series of small, consistent, positive habits (I call them Vibrant Habits) to optimize my health, body, and mind.
For example, starting each day with journaling or walking in nature sets a positive tone and builds momentum.
You’re just one habit away from improving your health and feeling awesome about your body.
Always focus on your physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Be intentional about creating vibrant habits. They build up over time, much like compound interest.
Small, consistent efforts lead to significant gains, amplifying your body transformation and overall health.
Align your actions with a healthier lifestyle for remarkable results. Challenge and change the beliefs that hold you back from being your athletic self.
Experiment with different strategies, and remember that failure is a vital part of finding what works best for you.
This approach helps you build a strong, resilient body with a vibrant, confident mindset.
Living in Mauritius brought a significant health challenge to my attention: insulin resistance.
This condition made my cells less responsive to insulin, leading to elevated blood sugar levels and complicating weight management.
Despite working out consistently, I struggled with weight gain because I couldn’t adjust my diet.
My love for certain foods and reluctance to change my mindset kept me from making the necessary nutritional shifts.
When I was finally ready to make a change, I discovered intermittent fasting (Alternating between eating and fasting periods) through research.
Integrating this approach into my vibrant habits proved to be a game-changer. It helped me effectively manage insulin resistance and regain control over my health.

Visualize yourself as that person. Envision the actions you need to take and the behaviors you need to adopt to become that version of yourself.

Action is the lifeblood of achieving vibrant outcomes.
Begin by implementing small, manageable changes that align with your desired transformation.
Start with simple steps like taking a 10-minute walk before breakfast each day or drinking more water.
Build momentum as you go.
Remember, taking the first step is all that is needed to start your journey of transformation.
The path may seem daunting at times, but every step forward brings you closer to your desired outcome.
Keep moving forward, no matter the obstacles (Most importantly, just start).
